It is designed for residential and light-commercial forced-air systems where both particulate filtration and odor reduction are required. The filter combines a pleated media rated MERV 8 with an activated carbon layer to capture particles in the 3-10 micron range while adsorbing common household odors. The actual dimensions are 21.75 x 28.75 x 0.75 inches, making it a custom size manufactured to those exact measurements. HVAC technicians and knowledgeable homeowners install this filter in furnace and air-handler return-air filter slots.

This filter is suited for residential gas furnaces, heat pumps, and central air conditioning systems that require a non-standard filter size. Because it is custom-made to the listed actual dimensions of 21.75 x 28.75 x 0.75 inches, it is intended for installations where standard nominal sizes do not provide an adequate fit. For 1-inch depth filters of this type, a replacement interval of 30 to 90 days is recommended depending on indoor air quality conditions, occupancy, and the presence of pets or allergen sources.

Key Features

MERV 8 rating captures 70-85% of airborne particles between 3 and 10 microns, including dust, pollen, pet dander, lint, and mold spores

Activated carbon layer reduces common household odors alongside particulate filtration

Custom-manufactured to actual dimensions of 21.75 x 28.75 x 0.75 inches for non-standard filter openings

Reinforced 2-part frame construction provides added rigidity and supports consistent airflow over the filter life

6 filters per box, supporting multiple replacement cycles with a single order

Made in the USA

Compatibility

Designed as a custom OEM-style replacement for residential and light-commercial forced-air furnace and air conditioning systems requiring a filter with an actual size of 21.75 x 28.75 x 0.75 inches. Power down the furnace or air handler at the disconnect or breaker before accessing the filter compartment. Confirm the actual filter slot dimensions to the nearest 1/8 inch before ordering, as custom-cut filters cannot be returned. Insert the filter with the airflow arrow on the frame pointing toward the blower, and inspect the seal around the filter frame to prevent bypass.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: MERV 8 Plus Carbon pleated

MERV Rating: 8

Nominal Size: 22 x 29 x 1 inches

Actual Size: 21.75 x 28.75 x 0.75 inches

Quantity per Box: 6

Weight: 7 pounds

Box Width: 26 inches

Box Height: 32 inches

Box Depth: 7 inches

Country of Origin: USA

UPC: 848224164876

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 22x29x1CustomM8+C-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/6ddac352816a885602759fc7a6c0d24c_af817d97-fc69-4c0e-b584-678bf1c3e05b.jpg?v=1789962948
