Each pack contains 6 filters built to the exact nominal dimensions of 22 x 24-1/4 x 1 inches, with an actual size of 21-3/4 x 24 x 3/4 inches. The activated carbon layer targets odors alongside standard particulate filtration, while the MERV 12 rating captures over 90 percent of airborne particles between 3 and 10 microns and 80 to 90 percent of particles between 1 and 3 microns. Licensed HVAC technicians and knowledgeable homeowners install this filter where a standard stock size will not fit the filter housing.

This filter is suited for residential forced-air furnace and central AC applications where the filter opening requires a non-standard dimension. Because the filter is hand-fabricated to the exact measurements provided at the time of order, it is intended for installations where nominal stock sizes fall short. Typical use cases include older homes, custom-built air handlers, and retrofit installations where the filter rack does not match any standard product dimension. Nordic Pure recommends replacing 1-inch thick filters every 30 to 90 days depending on local air quality and household conditions.

Key Features

MERV 12 filtration captures over 90 percent of particles from 3 to 10 microns, including lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, smoke, bacteria, and viruses

Activated carbon layer reduces common household odors alongside particulate filtration

Custom-fabricated to exact listed dimensions using a reinforced 2-part frame construction for structural integrity

Pleated media design maintains low airflow resistance to support HVAC system efficiency

Pack of 6 filters provides multiple replacement cycles per order

Made in the USA

Compatibility

Designed as a custom OEM-style replacement for any residential or light commercial forced-air furnace or central AC system with a filter opening requiring a nominal size of 22 x 24-1/4 x 1 inches. Verify actual filter slot dimensions with a tape measure before ordering, as this item is non-returnable once produced.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a licensed HVAC technician or qualified service professional. Power down the furnace or air handler at the disconnect or thermostat before removing the existing filter. Confirm airflow direction arrows on the new filter frame align with the direction of airflow into the blower. Because this is a custom-cut size, measure the actual filter slot opening to the nearest 1/8 inch before ordering to ensure proper fit and seal.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: MERV 12 Plus Carbon Pleated

MERV Rating: 12

Nominal Size: 22 x 24-1/4 x 1 inches

Actual Size: 21-3/4 x 24 x 3/4 inches (21.75 x 24 x 0.75 inches)

Quantity Per Pack: 6

Package Weight: 6 pounds

Package Dimensions: 26 x 26 x 7 inches

Recommended Replacement Interval: Every 30 to 90 days for 1-inch filters

Country of Origin: USA

UPC: 848224157595

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 22x24_1/4x1CustomM12+C-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/40183279e2f4016dccc996e0811481b0_bfb91253-cd58-4e80-8c3b-96227a8462f0.jpg?v=1789965696
