It features a synthetic polyester fiber media with 2.5 times the pleat count of standard filters, increasing surface area for improved particle capture while keeping static pressure low. The two-part, moisture-resistant beverage board frame holds its shape throughout the filter life. Licensed HVAC technicians and qualified installers fit these as drop-in replacements in standard 20x30x1 nominal filter slots across forced-air furnace and air handler applications.

These filters are suited for forced-air gas furnaces, heat pumps, and central air conditioning systems in residential settings and light commercial spaces. The MERV 12 rating makes them appropriate for environments with elevated air quality concerns, including homes with pets, allergy sufferers, or spaces undergoing renovation. Nordic Pure recommends replacing the filter every 2 to 3 months depending on usage and environmental conditions. The box of 6 provides approximately 12 to 18 months of supply at that replacement interval.

Key Features

MERV 12 rating captures lint, household dust, pollen, pet dander, dust mites, mold spores, smoke particles, virus carriers, and allergens

2.5 times more pleats than standard filters for greater surface area and particle capture without restricting airflow

Actual size 19.75 x 29.75 x 0.75 inches ensures precise fit in nominal 20x30x1 filter slots

Self-supporting synthetic polyester fiber media with a heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board frame

Equivalent to MPR 1500-1900 for cross-reference with other rating systems

Made in the USA

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style drop-in replacement for any forced-air HVAC system that accepts a nominal 20x30x1 filter. Note the airflow direction arrow printed on the filter frame and orient it toward the blower, not the return air duct. Nominal filter sizes frequently differ from actual dimensions; always measure the existing filter slot and verify against the actual size of 19.75 x 29.75 x 0.75 inches before installation. Dispose of the used filter in a sealed bag to contain captured particles.

Technical Specifications

MERV Rating: 12

MPR Equivalent: 1500-1900

Nominal Size: 20 x 30 x 1 inches

Actual Size: 19.75 x 29.75 x 0.75 inches

Quantity per Box: 6

Filter Media: Self-supporting synthetic polyester fiber

Frame Material: Two-part moisture-resistant beverage board

Package Weight: 6.5 pounds

Package Dimensions: 21 x 32 x 7 inches

Country of Origin: USA

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 20x30x1M12MiniPleat-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/8458ef0a40e8de6a903adb3526e872ee_1c012cd3-a356-4a47-bdb3-f089f5c7abc6.jpg?v=1789956757
