It is designed for residential and light-commercial HVAC systems, covering both forced-air furnaces and central air conditioners. The filter combines a MERV 8 media layer with an activated carbon layer to capture particulate matter while also reducing common household odors. With an actual size of 19.75 x 25.75 x 0.75 inches, this filter is hand-fabricated to the exact nominal dimensions ordered. Installation is handled by HVAC technicians or qualified service professionals during routine filter maintenance.

This filter is suited for 1-inch filter slots in residential furnaces and central AC air handlers where a nominal 20x26x1 opening is present. The MERV 8 rating captures 70 to 85 percent of airborne particles in the 3 to 10 micron range, including lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, and odor-causing contaminants. Recommended replacement interval is every 30 to 90 days depending on local air quality, system runtime, and household conditions. Because this is a custom-fabricated size, verify the actual slot dimensions with a tape measure before ordering.

Key Features

MERV 8 Plus Carbon media captures particles 3 to 10 microns and reduces common airborne odors

Custom hand-cut to a nominal 20x26x1 size with an actual dimension of 19.75 x 25.75 x 0.75 inches

Reinforced 2-part frame construction provides added rigidity and supports consistent airflow over the filter life

Low airflow resistance helps maintain system efficiency and reduces strain on the blower motor

6 filters per pack, supporting a full year or more of scheduled replacements at standard change intervals

Made in the USA

Compatibility

Designed as a custom OEM-style replacement for residential and light-commercial forced-air furnaces and central air handlers with a nominal 20x26x1 filter opening. Measure the actual filter slot before ordering, as custom-fabricated sizes are not interchangeable with standard nominal sizes if actual slot dimensions differ.

Installation Notes

Filter replacement is typically performed by an HVAC technician or trained service professional. Before replacing the filter, set the thermostat to off and confirm the air handler blower has stopped. Insert the filter with the airflow arrow on the frame pointing toward the blower and away from the return air duct. Because this is a custom size, confirm actual slot measurements to the nearest 1/8 inch before ordering to ensure a proper fit.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: MERV 8 Plus Carbon pleated

MERV Rating: 8

Nominal Size: 20x26x1 inches

Actual Size: 19.75 x 25.75 x 0.75 inches

Quantity per Pack: 6

Particle Capture Efficiency: 70 to 85 percent for particles 3 to 10 microns

Recommended Replacement Interval: Every 30 to 90 days

Frame Construction: Reinforced 2-part frame

Country of Origin: USA

Package Weight: 6 pounds

Package Dimensions: 21 x 32 x 7 inches

UPC: 848224164746

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 20x26x1CustomM8+C-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/6ddac352816a885602759fc7a6c0d24c_dd53744d-c3a2-4771-9ff6-0d783c789192.jpg?v=1789951151
