This filter uses electrostatically charged synthetic media combined with a carbon layer to capture airborne particulates and reduce odors in a single pass. It is rated to capture over 90% of particles between 1 and 10 microns, and between 75% and 95% of particles between 0.3 and 1 micron. Sold in a 6-pack, it is installed by HVAC technicians and knowledgeable homeowners in residential and light-commercial forced-air systems.

This filter is designed for use in residential and commercial HVAC applications where both fine particulate control and odor reduction are required. The custom sizing makes it suitable for non-standard filter openings that standard stock sizes cannot accommodate. Typical applications include central air conditioning systems, gas furnaces, and heat pumps with 1-inch filter tracks. Because this is a custom-made product, the actual filter dimensions should be verified against the existing filter slot before ordering.

Key Features

MERV 14 rating captures lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, smoke, bacteria, and viruses

Activated carbon layer reduces common household odors in the airstream

Electrostatically charged synthetic media improves particle capture without excessive airflow restriction

Reinforced 2-part frame construction provides structural durability for the custom size format

Custom-cut to nominal 18x22x1 inches with actual size 17.5 x 21.5 x 0.75 inches

Made in the USA; sold as a 6-pack

Compatibility

Designed as a custom OEM-style replacement filter for residential and light-commercial forced-air furnace and air conditioning systems with a nominal 18x22x1 inch filter slot.
