Each filter carries a nominal size of 18x18x1 with an actual size of 17.75 x 17.75 x 0.75 inches. The mini pleat design packs 2.5 times more pleats than standard filters, increasing usable media surface area without restricting airflow. The synthetic polyester fiber media is self-supporting, and the frame is a two-part moisture-resistant beverage board construction. Filters at this MERV rating capture fine particles including smoke, mold spores, bacteria, and virus carriers, making them suitable for environments with elevated IAQ demands.

These filters are intended for use in residential furnaces, central air handlers, and light commercial HVAC units where a 18x18x1 nominal slot is specified. The MERV 13 rating is equivalent to MPR 1900-2200. Typical applications include single-family homes, condos, and small commercial spaces. Nordic Pure recommends replacing this filter every 2 to 3 months depending on occupancy, pet presence, renovation activity, or elevated dust conditions. The 4-pack format supports a full year of quarterly replacements in a single purchase.

Key Features

MERV 13 rating captures bacteria, smoke, mold spores, pollen, pet dander, dust mites, and virus carriers

2.5x more pleats than standard filters for greater particle capture and extended filter life

Actual size 17.75 x 17.75 x 0.75 inches for precise fit in compatible HVAC equipment

Self-supporting synthetic polyester fiber media maintains pleat geometry under airflow

Moisture-resistant two-part beverage board frame resists deformation in humid air streams

Manufactured in the USA

Compatibility

Designed as a direct-fit replacement for residential and light commercial HVAC systems requiring a 18x18x1 nominal filter slot. Power down or set the thermostat to off before opening the filter compartment and removing the old filter. Note the airflow direction arrow on the filter frame and align it with the direction of air movement toward the blower. Dispose of the used filter in a sealed bag to contain captured particulates.

Technical Specifications

Nominal Size: 18 x 18 x 1 inches

Actual Size: 17.75 x 17.75 x 0.75 inches

MERV Rating: 13

MPR Equivalent: 1900-2200

Filter Media: Synthetic polyester fiber, self-supporting mini pleat

Frame Material: Two-part moisture-resistant beverage board

Quantity Per Box: 4

Weight: 3.02 pounds

Box Dimensions: 21 x 21 x 5 inches

Country of Origin: USA

UPC: 848224069065

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 18x18x1M13MiniPleat-4

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/9966ee5b8b9515993340f7b890af0e75_a1c1adf7-1312-46ef-ad0b-d24660349961.jpg?v=1789961281
