Each filter is hand-fabricated to exact measurements of 17 x 29 x 0.75 inches actual size, combining mechanical filtration with activated carbon media to reduce airborne allergens and common household odors. Licensed HVAC technicians and knowledgeable homeowners install these as direct replacements when standard nominal sizes do not fit the filter slot. This listing includes 6 filters per box.

This filter is suited for residential forced-air systems where a non-standard filter opening requires a custom-cut solution. Because each unit is manufactured to the exact dimensions entered at time of order, it is critical that the installer measure the existing filter opening or the current filter to the nearest 1/8 inch before ordering. The MERV 8 Plus Carbon rating makes these filters appropriate for homes with moderate dust, pet dander, pollen, and odor concerns. Filters in this 1-inch thickness category are typically replaced every 30 to 90 days depending on system runtime and indoor air quality conditions.

Key Features

Custom exact-size fabrication at 17 x 29 x 0.75 inches actual dimensions - hand-made to order for non-standard filter openings

MERV 8 filtration captures 70 to 85 percent of airborne particles between 3 and 10 microns, including lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, and mold spores

Activated carbon layer reduces common household odors alongside standard particulate filtration

Reinforced 2-part filter frame designed for balanced airflow and consistent structural integrity over the service life

Made in the USA

Pack of 6 filters

Compatibility

Designed as a custom exact-size replacement filter for residential and light-commercial forced-air furnace and central AC systems with a filter opening requiring a 17 x 29 x 1 nominal slot where standard sizes do not fit. Confirm airflow direction arrows on the filter frame align with the direction of airflow toward the blower. For 1-inch filters, plan for replacement every 30 to 90 days based on operating conditions and indoor air quality. Because this is a custom-made product, verify exact slot dimensions with a tape measure before ordering - returns are not accepted on custom sizes.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: MERV 8 Plus Carbon

Nominal Size: 17 x 29 x 1 inches

Actual Size: 17 x 29 x 0.75 inches

MERV Rating: 8

Quantity Per Box: 6

Weight: 6 pounds

Box Width: 21 inches

Box Height: 32 inches

Box Depth: 7 inches

Country of Origin: USA

UPC: 848224164531

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 17x29x1ExactCustomM8+C-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/6ddac352816a885602759fc7a6c0d24c_5c6b5f75-17ba-41ae-9a9d-30b0a5d8fb69.jpg?v=1789990967
