It is designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems where standard nominal sizes do not fit. The filter uses electrostatically charged synthetic media to capture airborne particulates while the carbon layer targets odors. The actual dimensions are 14 x 27 x 0.75 inches, which is the exact size as listed. A licensed HVAC technician or knowledgeable installer places this filter directly in the return-air slot of the air handler or furnace.

This filter is suited for residential forced-air heating and cooling systems and light commercial HVAC applications where a 14x27x1 nominal slot is present but requires an exact-fit custom size. It ships in a pack of six, providing an extended supply for a 30-to-90-day replacement schedule. Because this is a custom-made product cut to the exact dimensions listed, it is manufactured to order. Installers should measure the existing filter slot carefully before ordering to confirm the 14 x 27 x 0.75-inch actual size is correct for the application.

Key Features

MERV 7 filtration captures 50 to 70 percent of airborne particles between 3 and 10 microns, including lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, and mold spores

Integrated carbon layer targets common household odors passing through the filter media

Electrostatically charged synthetic media attracts and holds particulates without blocking airflow

Reinforced 2-part frame construction provides added durability and supports consistent airflow over the filter life

Custom exact-fit sizing at 14 x 27 x 0.75 inches for non-standard return-air openings

Made in the USA

Compatibility

Designed as a custom exact-fit replacement for HVAC systems requiring a nominal 14x27x1 filter slot with an actual opening of 14 x 27 x 0.75 inches. Installers should verify the actual slot dimensions before ordering, as this custom size is non-returnable.

Installation Notes

HVAC technicians and qualified installers should power down the air handler or furnace at the disconnect or breaker before replacing the filter. Confirm airflow direction marked on the filter frame aligns with the system airflow arrow in the return-air cabinet. Nordic Pure recommends replacing this filter every 30 to 90 days depending on indoor air quality conditions, occupancy, and the presence of pets or allergens. Because the frame may incorporate tape in its custom construction, handle the filter carefully during installation to maintain frame integrity.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: MERV 7 Plus Carbon

MERV Rating: 7

Nominal Size: 14x27x1 inches

Actual Size: 14 x 27 x 0.75 inches

Quantity Per Pack: 6

Filter Media: Electrostatically charged synthetic pleated media with carbon layer

Frame Construction: Reinforced 2-part frame, made in USA

Package Weight: 7 pounds

Package Width: 21 inches

Package Height: 32 inches

Package Depth: 7 inches

Country of Origin: USA

UPC: 848224104216

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 14x27x1ExactCustomM7+C-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/22407e7d058256b6ce95849ba8756844_ca6f8c1e-9037-482c-bb08-fdaf68c7a0d6.jpg?v=1789962101
