It is designed to capture airborne particles as small as 1 micron, removing lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, smoke particles, bacteria, and virus carriers from circulating air. The filter uses electrostatically charged media housed in a reinforced 2-part beverage board frame that resists moisture. This filter is manufactured to exact dimensions of 14 x 27 x 0.75 inches and is installed by HVAC technicians and experienced DIYers in residential and light commercial air handling systems.

This filter fits air handling units and furnace systems requiring a 14x27x1 nominal-size slot with an exact actual size of 14 x 27 x 0.75 inches. Because it is custom-made to those precise dimensions, it is suited for applications where standard off-the-shelf sizes do not fit correctly. Typical install environments include residential forced-air furnaces, central air conditioning systems, and light commercial air handlers. Filter replacement every 1 to 3 months is recommended under normal operating conditions, with more frequent changes advised in homes with pets or occupants with allergies.

Key Features

MERV 12 efficiency captures over 90% of airborne particles between 3 and 10 microns, and 80% to 90% of particles between 1 and 3 microns

Electrostatically charged filter media attracts fine particles without promoting bacterial or mold growth on the media surface

Reinforced 2-part beverage board frame provides added structural durability and supports consistent airflow over the filter life

Custom-cut to exact dimensions of 14 x 27 x 0.75 inches for precise fitment in non-standard filter slots

MERV 12 rating is comparable to MPR 1500 to 1900 rated filters; rated per ASHRAE industry standard methodology

Made in the USA

Compatibility

Designed for residential and light commercial forced-air furnace and AC systems requiring a nominal 14x27x1 filter with an exact actual size of 14 x 27 x 0.75 inches. Always power down the HVAC system at the thermostat and disconnect power at the air handler or furnace before removing the existing filter. Note the airflow direction arrow printed on the filter frame and orient the replacement filter accordingly. Because this is a custom size, measure the existing filter slot to the nearest fraction of an inch before ordering to confirm the exact dimensions match.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: Pleated MERV 12

Nominal Size: 14 x 27 x 1 inches

Actual Size: 14 x 27 x 0.75 inches

Quantity per Box: 6

Weight: 7 pounds

Box Dimensions: 21 x 32 x 7 inches

Frame Material: Moisture-resistant beverage board

MERV Rating Standard: ASHRAE

Country of Origin: USA

UPC: 848224097396

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 14x27x1ExactCustomM12-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/d66f2f786b1ca9985b67fb4ffaacb9f2_ad0c42a4-4515-4c91-bc6f-d74f422f1452.jpg?v=1789960868
