Each filter measures 13.75 x 23.75 x 0.75 inches actual size, with a nominal size of 14x24x1 inches. The electrostatically charged, hypoallergenic filter media captures airborne dust, pollen, mold spores, pet dander, smoke particles, bacteria, smog, and dust mite debris. The frame is constructed from moisture-resistant beverage board for durability. MERV 14 filtration is equivalent to MPR 2800 and follows the ASHRAE industry standard for filter efficiency ratings. These filters are manufactured in the USA.

These filters are suited for residential homes and commercial buildings where higher-grade air filtration is required. They perform best in newer, high-efficiency HVAC systems designed to handle MERV 14 rated media and above. They are a practical choice for occupants with allergies, asthma, or other respiratory sensitivities, and for environments with pets or elevated particulate loads. Nordic Pure recommends replacing these filters every one to three months, though households with pets or allergy sufferers may benefit from more frequent changes.

Key Features

MERV 14 rated filtration captures dust, pollen, mold spores, pet dander, smoke, bacteria, and smog

Hypoallergenic, antimicrobial, and electrostatic filter media resists bacterial and mold growth on the filter surface

Moisture-resistant beverage board frame adds structural durability in humid conditions

Actual size 13.75 x 23.75 x 0.75 inches fits nominal 14x24x1 filter slots

Equivalent to MPR 2800 rating; meets ASHRAE MERV standard

Made in the USA; sold in a six-pack for extended service intervals

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement pleated filter for residential and commercial HVAC systems with a nominal 14x24x1 inch filter slot rated to accept MERV 14 media or higher. Verify that the HVAC system is rated to handle MERV 14 and above before installation, as high-efficiency filtration increases static pressure on the air handler.

Installation Notes

Installation is typically performed by HVAC technicians or knowledgeable building maintenance personnel, though homeowners regularly replace standard filters. Power down or set the thermostat to off before opening the filter compartment. Confirm the actual slot dimensions match the filter actual size of 13.75 x 23.75 x 0.75 inches, not just the nominal label, to ensure a proper fit and prevent air bypass. Insert the filter with the airflow arrow pointing toward the blower or furnace.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: Pleated

MERV Rating: 14

Nominal Size: 14x24x1 inches

Actual Size: 13.75 x 23.75 x 0.75 inches

Quantity per Pack: 6

Filter Media: Hypoallergenic, antimicrobial, electrostatic

Frame Material: Moisture-resistant beverage board

MPR Equivalent: 2800

Package Weight: 3 pounds

Country of Origin: USA

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 14x24x1M14-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/53c2338c7c6f775853d2638bd9c79415_29d94e73-7003-41fb-afb4-330f10182bad.jpg?v=1790037545
