Built from electrostatically charged synthetic filter media, it captures over 90% of airborne particles between 3 and 10 microns and 80% to 90% of particles between 1 and 3 microns. The added carbon layer addresses odors alongside standard particulate filtration. Each filter ships as a pack of six, with an actual size of 11.5 x 25.5 x 0.75 inches. HVAC technicians and knowledgeable homeowners install this filter as a direct drop-in for systems requiring a 12x26x1 nominal size slot.

This filter suits residential forced-air furnaces and central air conditioning systems where indoor air quality and odor control are priorities. Typical applications include homes with pets, allergy-sensitive occupants, or environments with elevated particulate loads such as cooking smoke or mold risk. Because this is a custom-made size, it is manufactured by cutting down or combining standard filter frames, which may include taped seams. Nordic Pure recommends replacement every 30 to 90 days depending on environmental conditions. The reinforced two-part frame supports consistent airflow and structural integrity over the filter life.

Key Features

MERV 12 filtration captures lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, smoke, bacteria, and viruses

Activated carbon layer reduces common household odors alongside particulate capture

Electrostatically charged synthetic media attracts and holds airborne particles without restricting airflow

Reinforced two-part frame built for added durability and balanced filtration performance

Custom-cut to exact 12x26x1 nominal dimensions with an actual size of 11.5 x 25.5 x 0.75 inches

Made in the USA

Compatibility

Designed as a custom OEM-style replacement filter for residential and light commercial forced-air furnace and central AC systems requiring a 12x26x1 nominal filter slot. Power down or set the thermostat to the off position before removing the existing filter to prevent unfiltered air from bypassing the media during the swap. Confirm airflow direction arrows on the filter frame align with the direction of air movement toward the blower. Because this is a custom size, use a tape measure to verify the actual slot dimensions match 11.5 x 25.5 x 0.75 inches before installation.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: MERV 12 Plus Carbon

MERV Rating: 12

Nominal Size: 12x26x1 inches

Actual Size: 11.5 x 25.5 x 0.75 inches

Quantity Per Pack: 6

Package Weight: 7 pounds

Package Width: 21 inches

Package Height: 32 inches

Package Depth: 7 inches

Country of Origin: USA

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 12x26x1CustomM12+C-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/40183279e2f4016dccc996e0811481b0_9018a2b9-6bf2-49a5-9757-bdfd92638605.jpg?v=1790038989
