Sold as a 2-pack, each filter carries a nominal size of 12x24x1 and an actual size of 11.38 x 23.38 x 0.75 inches. The polyester filter media is self-supporting and moisture-resistant, engineered with 2.5 times more pleats than standard filters to maximize particle capture surface area without significantly restricting airflow. Licensed HVAC technicians and qualified service personnel install this filter during routine preventive maintenance.

This filter suits residential homes and commercial buildings that rely on forced-air HVAC systems requiring a 12x24x1 nominal filter slot. It effectively captures lint, dust, pollen, pet dander, dust mites, and mold spores. The MERV 10 rating is equivalent to MPR 800-1000, making it appropriate for households seeking improved indoor air quality beyond what standard MERV 8 filters provide. Nordic Pure recommends replacing the filter every 2 to 3 months depending on occupancy, pets, and local air conditions, or more frequently during renovation activity.

Key Features

MERV 10 filtration rating, equivalent to MPR 800-1000, captures common airborne particles while maintaining airflow

2.5 times more pleats than standard filters, increasing effective filtration surface area for improved particle capture

Actual size 11.38 x 23.38 x 0.75 inches ensures a proper fit in slots labeled 12x24x1 nominal

Heavy-duty 2-part, moisture-resistant beverage board frame provides structural integrity in humid environments

Self-supporting polyester media resists mold growth, contributing to healthier indoor air quality

Made in the USA; sold as a 2-pack per box

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement for residential and light-commercial forced-air furnace and air handler systems that accept a 12x24x1 nominal filter size. Always verify the actual filter opening dimensions against the actual size of 11.38 x 23.38 x 0.75 inches before installation, as nominal and actual filter sizes commonly differ.

Installation Notes

Installation is typically performed by a licensed HVAC technician or a qualified building maintenance professional. Before replacing the filter, shut down the air handler or furnace at the system disconnect or thermostat to prevent unfiltered air bypass during the swap. Confirm airflow direction arrows on the filter frame align with system airflow toward the blower. Dispose of the used filter in a sealed bag to contain trapped particulates.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: MERV 10 Tru Mini Pleat

MERV Rating: 10

Nominal Size: 12 x 24 x 1 inches

Actual Size: 11.38 x 23.38 x 0.75 inches

Quantity Per Box: 2 filters

Filter Media: Self-supporting polyester

Frame Material: Moisture-resistant beverage board, 2-part construction

Weight: 2.6 pounds (per box)

Country of Origin: USA

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 12x24x1M10MiniPleat-2

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/d91ee2e5b1e7d3ffcaec540fff5070fc_e24d63bf-d8a4-40d4-980c-b04ec46b55d1.jpg?v=1789962653
