It combines mechanical particulate filtration with an activated carbon layer to capture airborne particles and reduce common household odors in a single pass. This filter is hand-fabricated to order and ships as a 6-pack. Licensed HVAC technicians and experienced DIYers install this filter in residential forced-air systems where a non-standard opening makes off-the-shelf sizes unsuitable. The reinforced 2-part frame supports consistent airflow and structural integrity throughout the filter's service life.

This filter is designed for residential HVAC systems - gas furnaces, heat pumps, and central air conditioning air handlers - that require a custom nominal size of 11.5 x 21 x 1 inch. It is built to exact measurements rather than nominal industry sizing, so the actual filter dimensions are 11.5 x 21 x 0.75 inches. Installers should verify the actual opening size with a tape measure before ordering, confirming width and length are within 0.125 inches of 11.5 x 21. The 1-inch depth suits standard single-slot filter tracks. Recommended replacement interval is every 30 to 90 days depending on environment and air quality conditions.

Key Features

MERV 7 rated - captures 50 to 70 percent of airborne particles between 3 and 10 microns, including dust, lint, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, and odors

Activated carbon layer reduces common airborne odors without significantly increasing static pressure drop

Custom exact-cut to 11.5 x 21 x 0.75 inches - hand-fabricated per order to fit non-standard filter openings

Reinforced 2-part frame provides added structural durability and supports balanced airflow over the full service interval

Sold as a 6-pack to reduce reorder frequency

Made in the USA

Compatibility

Designed for residential forced-air HVAC systems requiring a custom filter size with a nominal dimension of 11.5 x 21 x 1 inch. Confirm airflow direction arrows on the filter frame align with the direction of airflow toward the blower. Because this is a custom-sized filter with an actual depth of 0.75 inches, verify the track depth accommodates the filter before installation. Custom filters are not eligible for return, so measurement accuracy before ordering is critical.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: MERV 7 Plus Carbon pleated

MERV Rating: 7

Nominal Size: 11.5 x 21 x 1 inches

Actual Size: 11.5 x 21 x 0.75 inches

Quantity per Pack: 6

Weight: 2 pounds

Box Width: 15 inches

Box Height: 26 inches

Box Depth: 7 inches

Country of Origin: USA

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 11_1/2x21x1ExactCustomM7+C-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/22407e7d058256b6ce95849ba8756844_fc037e2d-ada7-42ab-a4d3-99240f0e592f.jpg?v=1790022103
