It is designed for residential and light-commercial HVAC systems where high-efficiency particulate capture and odor reduction are both required. The filter uses electrostatically charged synthetic media combined with a carbon layer to trap fine particles and absorb gaseous contaminants in a single pass. At MERV 14, it captures over 90 percent of airborne particles between 1 and 10 microns, and between 75 and 95 percent of particles in the 0.3 to 1 micron range. Licensed HVAC technicians and knowledgeable homeowners install this filter as a direct drop-in replacement during routine maintenance.

This filter is built for HVAC systems requiring a non-standard 10 by 25 by 1 inch nominal slot. The actual dimensions are 9.5 inches by 24.5 inches by 0.75 inches, which is standard for nominal 10x25x1 filter openings. It is sold in a 6-pack, making it well suited for multi-unit service calls or scheduled preventive maintenance programs where filter stock is kept on hand. The carbon layer addresses odors from cooking, pets, smoke, and similar household sources, making this filter appropriate for occupied residential spaces with air quality concerns beyond standard particulate filtration.

Key Features

MERV 14 rating captures over 90 percent of particles between 1 and 10 microns, including pollen, mold spores, pet dander, bacteria, and smoke

Activated carbon layer reduces odors from smoke, cooking, and pets alongside particulate filtration

Electrostatically charged synthetic media attracts and holds fine airborne contaminants

Reinforced 2-part frame construction provides added rigidity and supports consistent airflow over the filter life

Custom-cut to nominal 10x25x1 with actual size 9.5 x 24.5 x 0.75 inches for non-standard filter slots

Made in the USA

Compatibility

Custom-made to nominal 10x25x1 inch dimensions for HVAC systems with filter slots that accept this non-standard size. Power down or set the thermostat to off before accessing the filter compartment. Confirm airflow direction arrows on the filter frame align with the direction of airflow into the blower. Nordic Pure recommends replacing this filter every 30 to 90 days depending on system runtime, occupancy, and indoor air quality conditions.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: MERV 14 Plus Carbon

MERV Rating: 14

Nominal Size: 10x25x1 inches

Actual Size: 9.5 x 24.5 x 0.75 inches

Quantity Per Box: 6

Package Weight: 4 pounds

Box Dimensions: 26 x 15 x 7 inches

Country of Origin: USA

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 10x25x1CustomM14+C-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/e454bb5ddc4a9cc907a9560dec712355_8374b908-dbd2-491f-bc38-d6a7d9e34060.jpg?v=1790043582
