The filter media is electrostatically charged synthetic material that attracts and captures airborne particulates as small as 3 microns. The carbon layer provides additional odor reduction beyond standard mechanical filtration. At a nominal size of 10x18x1 and an actual size of 10 x 18 x 0.75 inches, this is a precision-cut filter built to exact dimensions. Licensed HVAC technicians and HVAC-savvy homeowners install this type of filter in forced-air residential and light commercial systems.

This filter is designed for forced-air HVAC systems where the standard nominal slot accepts a 10x18x1 filter. It targets common indoor air quality concerns including lint, household dust, pollen, dust mites, pet dander, mold spores, and airborne odors. The reinforced two-part frame construction supports consistent airflow and structural integrity over the filter service life. Because this is a custom-made product cut to exact dimensions, it is not eligible for returns. Installers should measure the existing filter opening before ordering to confirm the actual opening dimensions match the 10 x 18 x 0.75 inch actual size of this filter.

Key Features

MERV 10 rating captures over 85% of airborne particles between 3 and 10 microns, including pollen, pet dander, and mold spores

Activated carbon layer reduces common household odors beyond standard MERV mechanical filtration

Electrostatically charged synthetic media enhances particle attraction and capture efficiency

Reinforced two-part frame provides added structural durability and supports efficient, balanced airflow

Custom-cut exact-fit construction at actual size 10 x 18 x 0.75 inches - not a standard nominal size approximation

Made in the USA

Compatibility

Custom-manufactured to exact dimensions for forced-air residential and light commercial HVAC systems requiring a 10x18x1 nominal filter slot with an actual opening of 10 x 18 x 0.75 inches. Power down or set the system to off at the thermostat before removing the existing filter to avoid drawing unfiltered air into the system during the swap. Confirm airflow direction arrows on the filter frame align with the direction of airflow toward the blower. Nordic Pure recommends replacing the filter every 30 to 90 days depending on environmental conditions and system usage.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: MERV 10 Pleated Plus Carbon

MERV Rating: 10

Nominal Size: 10x18x1 inches

Actual Size: 10 x 18 x 0.75 inches

Quantity per Box: 6

Package Weight: 4.5 pounds

Box Width: 21 inches

Box Height: 16 inches

Box Depth: 7 inches

Country of Origin: USA

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 10x18x1ExactCustomM10+C-6

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/101b1300033b35987e698aad28b6d8a2_a0aff632-19ee-4fb1-854d-780e5228e2a1.jpg?v=1790068355
