Built from electrostatically charged synthetic media with an integrated carbon layer, it captures common airborne particulates while also reducing odors that pass through standard pleated filters. The filter measures 9.5 x 14.5 x 0.75 inches actual size and ships in a 12-pack. It is rated MERV 7, capturing 50 to 70 percent of airborne particles between 3 and 10 microns, including dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, and lint. Licensed HVAC technicians and knowledgeable homeowners install this filter as a direct drop-in replacement in forced-air heating and cooling systems.

This filter fits forced-air furnaces and central air conditioning systems requiring a 10x15x1 nominal filter slot. Because it is a custom-fabricated size, it is made by cutting down or combining standard filter frames, which may include taped seams. The construction is functional and structurally sound. This product is appropriate for residential homes and small commercial spaces where a non-standard filter slot size exists and a MERV 7 filtration level with odor control is desired. Filter media also inhibits the growth of bacteria and mold within the filter itself. Replacing the filter every 30 to 90 days is recommended to maintain airflow and filtration efficiency.

Key Features

MERV 7 rating captures 50 to 70 percent of particles between 3 and 10 microns, including pollen, dust, pet dander, and mold spores

Integrated carbon layer reduces common household odors passing through the filter media

Electrostatically charged synthetic media attracts and holds airborne particulates without significantly restricting airflow

Reinforced 2-part frame provides added structural durability compared to single-frame designs

Custom-fabricated to 9.5 x 14.5 x 0.75 inches actual size to fit non-standard filter slots

Made in the USA

Compatibility

Designed as a custom OEM-style replacement for residential and light commercial forced-air furnace and air conditioning systems with a 10x15x1 nominal filter slot. Confirm the actual opening measures approximately 9.5 x 14.5 x 0.75 inches before ordering. Custom sizes are not eligible for returns, so measuring the existing filter before purchase is strongly advised.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by HVAC technicians or qualified homeowners. Always shut off the HVAC system at the thermostat and, where required, at the disconnect before removing the old filter. Confirm airflow direction arrows on the filter frame align with the direction of airflow in the system before seating the filter. Replace every 30 to 90 days depending on indoor air quality conditions, occupancy, and system runtime.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: MERV 7 Plus Carbon

Nominal Size: 10x15x1 inches

Actual Size: 9.5 x 14.5 x 0.75 inches

MERV Rating: 7

Quantity per Box: 12

Weight: 7.5 pounds

Box Dimensions: 21 x 16 x 11 inches

Country of Origin: USA

UPC: 848224111856

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 10x15x1CustomM7+C-12

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/ee97236c8e2080dcca951733574d7878_58fa7742-ef0b-4826-80a8-d2306eb498fe.jpg?v=1790087139
