It is built from electrostatically charged synthetic media that captures a broad range of airborne particulates, including particles as small as 0.3 microns. At MERV 14, the filter captures over 90% of particles between 1 and 10 microns, and between 75% and 95% of particles in the 0.3 to 1 micron range. The carbon layer addresses odors alongside standard particulate filtration. This filter ships as a 12-pack and is manufactured in the USA to the nominal dimensions listed. Licensed HVAC technicians and experienced DIYers install this filter in forced-air heating and cooling systems.

This filter is designed for residential and light commercial forced-air HVAC systems where high-efficiency particulate and odor control is required. The actual size of this filter is 9.5 inches x 13.5 inches x 0.75 inches, which is standard practice for filters listed at a nominal 10x14x1 size. It targets lint, household dust, pollen, dust mites, pet dander, mold spores, smoke, bacteria, viruses, and smog. The custom construction involves cutting or combining standard filter frames, and tape may be used in fabrication depending on the final dimensions. This makes the filter structurally sound but visually different from a standard production filter.

Key Features

MERV 14 rating captures over 90% of particles between 1 and 10 microns and 75%-95% of particles between 0.3 and 1 microns

Integrated carbon layer targets airborne odors in addition to particulate matter

Electrostatically charged synthetic media attracts and holds fine particles

Reinforced 2-part frame design provides added structural durability and supports consistent airflow

Custom-cut to nominal 10x14x1 with an actual size of 9.5 x 13.5 x 0.75 inches

Made in the USA; ships as a 12-pack

Compatibility

Designed as a custom OEM-style replacement filter for residential and light commercial forced-air furnace and AC systems that accept a nominal 10x14x1 filter slot. Confirm the actual filter slot dimensions with a tape measure before installation, as custom filters are sized to a specific opening and cannot be returned once ordered. Install the filter with the airflow direction arrow pointing toward the blower. Replace every 30 to 90 days depending on indoor air quality conditions and system run time.

Technical Specifications

Filter Type: MERV 14 Plus Carbon

Nominal Size: 10x14x1 inches

Actual Size: 9.5 x 13.5 x 0.75 inches

MERV Rating: 14

Quantity Per Box: 12

Weight: 5.6 pounds

Box Dimensions: 15 x 15 x 11 inches

Country of Origin: USA

Standard Information

Brand: NORDIC PURE

Manufacturer Part Number: 10x14x1CustomM14+C-12

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/034ad60e1ec91b1dd4d68d5347d664cf_ac2df2e0-b9dd-4860-8e8d-a08667980806.jpg?v=1790076005
