Constructed from polyethylene, this fitting accepts 1/8 inch inner diameter tubing on each end. The barbed design creates a secure mechanical grip on the tube wall without additional tools or adhesives. This type of fitting is common in low-pressure fluid transfer, pneumatic control lines, and instrument tubing applications. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance trades install these fittings in situations where a simple, inline tube connection is required. The part is REACH and RoHS compliant.

This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial applications where small-diameter flexible tubing must be connected inline. Typical install scenarios include condensate drain lines, pneumatic signal tubing, and other low-pressure fluid or air distribution systems. The 1/8 inch barb size targets fine-bore tubing runs where compact fitting geometry is necessary. Each package contains 10 units, making this part practical for jobs requiring multiple connections or for stocking service vehicles.

Key Features

Single-barb union design joins two tube ends inline without tools

1/8 inch barb size fits 1/8 inch inner diameter flexible tubing

Polyethylene construction resists moisture and mild chemical exposure

REACH and RoHS compliant materials

Sold in packages of 10 units for convenient multi-connection jobs

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement or general-use fitting for 1/8 inch inner diameter flexible tubing in low-pressure fluid and pneumatic applications.

Installation Notes

Installation requires no special tools - push the tube end firmly over each barb until the tube seats fully against the fitting shoulder. Shut off and depressurize any fluid or air supply before disconnecting or installing fittings in an active line. Verify that the tubing material is compatible with the fluid being conveyed prior to assembly. For critical pressure applications, confirm the fitting pressure rating against system operating conditions before use.

Technical Specifications

Type: Hose Union

Barb Style: Single Barb

Barb Size: 1/8 inch

Tube Inner Diameter: 1/8 inch

Material: Polyethylene

Color: Black

Compliance: REACH, RoHS

Package Quantity: 10 pieces

Standard Information

Brand: NEWAGE INDUSTRIES

Manufacturer Part Number: 5011048
