Manufactured from wrot copper, this fitting connects directly inline without a coupling by accepting a soldered male end on one side and a standard cup end on the other. It carries a 1/4 inch fitting connection on one end and a 1/4 inch cup connection on the other, with a 3/8 inch OD. Rated to 500 psi and suitable for service between 32 and 200 degrees F, it handles typical domestic water and light commercial plumbing pressure requirements. Plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting where a compact 90-degree directional change is needed in tight spaces.

This street elbow is used in residential and light commercial plumbing applications where copper sweat connections are specified. Its street configuration eliminates the need for an additional coupling when making a 90-degree turn, which reduces joint count and saves space in confined runs. Typical install scenarios include under-sink supply lines, refrigeration tubing, and small-diameter branch connections in potable water systems.

Key Features

90-degree street elbow eliminates need for an extra coupling at directional changes

Wrot copper construction for durability and reliable soldered joints

Rated to 500 psi for use in standard domestic and light commercial water systems

Operating temperature range of 32 to 200 degrees F suits typical hot and cold water service

1/4 inch fitting by 1/4 inch cup ends for compact, space-saving installation

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for 1/4 inch copper sweat plumbing systems using standard solder joint connections.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by licensed plumbers following applicable IPC and local plumbing code requirements.
