The compression side accepts copper, aluminum, or plastic tubing, making this fitting versatile across a range of plumbing and fluid-handling applications. Thread dimensions are 9/16-24 on the compression side and 1/4-18 on the NPTF side. The lead-free brass construction meets current potable water compliance standards. This fitting is installed by licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians where a transition between compression tubing and a female threaded connection is required.

This coupling is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, refrigeration lines, and HVAC equipment connections. It is commonly used where copper, aluminum, or plastic tubing must terminate at a female NPTF port on a valve, manifold, or equipment fitting. The rated temperature range of -40 to 250 degrees F makes it appropriate for both chilled-water and hot-water service as well as typical HVAC refrigerant-adjacent tubing runs that use compression-style connections.

Key Features

Lead-free brass construction meets potable water compliance requirements

3/8-inch compression inlet accepts copper, aluminum, or plastic tubing

1/4-inch female NPTF outlet for secure threaded port connections

Rated from -40 to 250 degrees F for broad service temperature range

Compact profile at approximately 1.1 inches in length and 0.05 pounds

Compatibility

Designed for use with copper, aluminum, or plastic tubing on the 3/8-inch compression side. Shut off the water or fluid supply and depressurize the line before disassembly or fitting installation. Hand-tighten the compression nut before applying a final snug turn with a wrench - do not overtighten, as excessive force can deform the ferrule and cause leaks. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPTF threads as required by the application.

Technical Specifications

Connection Size 1: 3/8 inches (Compression)

Connection Size 2: 1/4 inches (Female NPTF)

Thread Specification: 9/16-24 x 1/4-18

Material: Lead-Free Brass

Temperature Range: -40 to 250 degrees F

Compatible Tubing: Copper, Aluminum, Plastic

Length: 1.1 inches

Height: 0.6 inches

Width: 0.65 inches

Weight: 0.05 pounds

Standard Information

Brand: MIDLAND INDUSTRIES

Manufacturer Part Number: 700066-0604

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/26d1aba4810f17864db1d7607957c2b8_d4347e65-974a-46e9-9c82-9781114791c2.jpg?v=1791688131
