This brass fitting features a 2-inch female coupler on one end and a 3-inch male adapter on the other, allowing for a reducing connection between differently sized hose or pipe assemblies. The brass construction provides solid corrosion resistance in a wide range of fluid handling environments. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance technicians are the typical installers of this style of fitting.

Type DA cam and groove couplers are used across industries including agriculture, petroleum transfer, chemical handling, water supply, and general fluid management. The reducing configuration - 2 inches on the female coupler side and 3 inches on the male adapter side - suits installations where line sizes change between a pump outlet, tank port, or distribution manifold. This fitting is suited for both permanent and temporary hose connections requiring fast makeup and breakout without tools.

Key Features

Type DA cam and groove configuration with 2-inch female coupler and 3-inch male adapter ends

Reducing design connects two different line sizes in a single fitting

Brass construction offers corrosion resistance for a broad range of fluid media

Tool-free connection and disconnection via cam arm locking mechanism

Substantial 4.409-pound construction indicates heavy-wall, durable material thickness

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation cam and groove fitting compatible with standard Type DA hose coupling systems using 2-inch female coupler and 3-inch male adapter connections.

Installation Notes

Installation of cam and groove couplings should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, plumber, or industrial technician familiar with the fluid system involved.
