It seals off an open PEX port cleanly, preventing flow through unused or capped lines. The lead-free brass construction meets potable water compliance requirements, making it suitable for use in domestic water supply applications. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting during system modifications, repairs, or staged installations where a line must be temporarily or permanently closed off. Its compact profile fits easily into confined spaces typical of residential plumbing rough-in work.

This plug is used wherever a 3/4-inch PEX connection needs to be terminated, including manifold outlets, branch line ends, and stub-outs left open during phased construction. It is appropriate for both hot and cold water supply lines in residential construction and remodel projects. The fitting is suited for use with standard 3/4-inch PEX tubing and compatible crimp or clamp-style PEX fittings systems.

Key Features

Lead-free brass construction meets potable water safety standards

3/4-inch PEX connection size for direct termination of open PEX ports

Compact dimensions - 0.7 inches long, 0.7 inches wide, 0.65 inches tall - for use in tight spaces

Lightweight at 0.03 pounds, minimizing load on tubing and fittings

Single minimum order quantity for low-volume repair and service needs

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement fitting for 3/4-inch PEX plumbing systems; no specific compatible model numbers were provided in the product data.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the International Plumbing Code (IPC) and local jurisdiction requirements.
