It accepts 12mm outside diameter tubing and connects via a 3/8 BSPP male thread. The body is constructed from treated brass, which resists corrosion and handles the pressure cycles common in compressed air applications. A Buna Nitrile O-ring provides the sealing interface. This valve is installed by pneumatic system technicians and industrial maintenance professionals to meter or throttle air volume at specific circuit points, enabling precise speed or flow control downstream.

This valve is suited for use in pneumatic control circuits found in industrial automation, manufacturing equipment, and compressed air distribution systems. The push-to-connect fitting style common to the Legris fitting family allows fast tube insertion and secure retention without additional ferrules or fittings. The 3/8 BSPP male thread connection is standard in European and ISO-compliant pneumatic manifolds and valve bodies, making this a straightforward replacement or new-installation component in those environments.

Key Features

Treated brass body for corrosion resistance in compressed air service

Accepts 12mm outside diameter pneumatic tubing

3/8 BSPP male thread for compatibility with ISO-standard ports

Buna Nitrile O-ring sealing for reliable air-tight connections

Compact single-unit form factor suitable for tight panel or manifold installations

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation flow control valve for pneumatic systems using 12mm OD tubing and 3/8 BSPP male threaded ports.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by qualified pneumatic or industrial maintenance technicians. Before servicing any pneumatic circuit, depressurize the system fully and lock out the air supply per site LOTO procedures. BSPP threads are parallel-sealing and rely on the O-ring or bonded seal at the face rather than thread taper, so do not overtighten or use thread tape in place of proper face sealing. Verify tubing is cut cleanly and squarely before insertion to ensure a secure, leak-free push-to-connect engagement.

Technical Specifications

Tube Outside Diameter: 12 mm

Male Thread Size: 3/8

Thread Type: BSPP

Body Material: Treated Brass

O-Ring Material: Buna Nitrile

Weight: 0.39 pounds

Standard Information

Brand: LEGRIS

Manufacturer Part Number: 7100 12 17
