It accepts tubing with a 10 mm outside diameter and connects to a 3/8 inch BSPP male thread. The oscillating elbow design allows angular adjustment after installation, reducing stress on tubing runs and simplifying routing in tight spaces. The fitting body is constructed from Nylon with a Nitrile O-ring seal, making it suitable for air lines and compatible fluid media. This fitting is typically installed by plumbers, pipefitters, and pneumatic system technicians working on compressed-air distribution or fluid-control assemblies.

This fitting is used in pneumatic tubing systems where a directional change from a male BSPP port is needed. The push-to-connect mechanism allows fast, tool-free tube insertion and removal during assembly or maintenance. Its oscillating elbow geometry suits installations where rigid fixed-angle fittings would create tube fatigue or interference with adjacent components. Typical applications include machine pneumatics, fluid-control panels, and compressed-air branch lines in both light industrial and commercial environments.

Key Features

Push-to-connect design allows tool-free tube insertion and removal

Oscillating elbow allows post-installation angular adjustment to reduce tube stress

Compatible with 10 mm outside diameter tubing

3/8 inch BSPP male thread connection

Nylon body with Nitrile O-ring seal for reliable performance on air and compatible fluids

Rated to 290 psi maximum working pressure

Compatibility

Designed for use with 10 mm outside diameter push-to-connect tubing on systems with 3/8 inch BSPP male threaded ports. Verify thread type and tube OD before installation, as BSPP threads are not interchangeable with NPT or BSPT fittings.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, pipefitter, or pneumatic technician familiar with push-to-connect fittings and BSPP thread standards. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fitting. Ensure the tube end is cut cleanly and squarely and is free of burrs before insertion to maintain a positive seal. Confirm thread compatibility before engaging the BSPP connection, as BSPP is a parallel-thread form that relies on an O-ring face seal rather than thread taper for sealing.

Technical Specifications

Tube Outside Diameter: 10 mm

Thread Type: BSPP

Thread Size: 3/8 inch

Maximum Working Pressure: 290 psi

Body Material: Nylon

O-Ring Material: Nitrile

Weight: 0.0937 pounds

UNSPSC Code: 27121707

Standard Information

Brand: LEGRIS

Manufacturer Part Number: 3189 10 17

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/3068a3c7f0f72fbf7e7fd700a7029b62_1100d5ad-b8a7-437c-b699-2d0079f61f1a.jpg?v=1788767263
