It ships with a Belimo 3-wire actuator that operates on a 60-second cycle time, providing controlled airflow modulation within ducted supply or return runs. The damper body is sized to fit standard rectangular duct openings and is compatible with Trane and American Standard zoning applications. Licensed HVAC technicians and zoning system installers are the primary installers of this component.

This zone damper is used in residential and light commercial forced-air zoning systems where multiple zones require independent temperature control. It is suited for new zoning installations and retrofit applications within Trane and American Standard duct systems. The 18 x 6 inch face size fits standard rectangular trunk or branch duct configurations. The integrated Belimo 3-wire actuator allows the damper to be driven open, closed, or to a proportional position depending on the zone control panel's output signal.

Key Features

18 x 6 inch rectangular damper face sized for standard duct openings

Includes Belimo 3-wire actuator with 60-second cycle time

3-wire actuator supports open, close, and proportional control signals

Designed for compatibility with Trane and American Standard zoning systems

Packaged weight of 7 pounds for manageable single-technician handling

Compatibility

Designed for use with Trane and American Standard rectangular duct zoning systems requiring an 18 x 6 inch damper with a Belimo 3-wire actuator.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician familiar with zoned forced-air systems. De-energize the zone control panel and air handler before installing or wiring the actuator. Secure the damper body to the duct section using sheet metal screws and seal all connections per applicable mechanical codes. Verify actuator wiring against the zone control panel's 3-wire output terminals before restoring power.

Technical Specifications

Damper Size: 18 x 6 inches

Actuator Type: Belimo 3-Wire

Actuator Cycle Time: 60 seconds

Package Weight: 7 pounds

Package Width: 10 inches

Package Height: 25 inches

Package Depth: 8 inches

Standard Information

Brand: IO HVAC CONTROLS

Manufacturer Part Number: TD-1806

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/50bbd6f74b2edbde3fa9d504fe30cd5d_7fd14066-5cbc-4711-b3f2-8075ee4699c5.jpg?v=1791711556
