It controls airflow through ductwork by opening and closing on demand from a zone control board or thermostat signal. The unit ships with a Belimo 3-wire actuator that operates on a 60-second cycle time, providing reliable, repeatable blade positioning. Packaged dimensions measure 10 inches wide, 21 inches tall, and 8 inches deep, with a shipping weight of 7 pounds. Licensed HVAC technicians are the primary installers of this component.

This damper is sized at 14 x 8 inches to fit standard rectangular duct openings of that dimension. It is suited for residential forced-air zoning applications where Trane or American Standard equipment is installed, and where the duct layout requires individual zone control. The integrated Belimo actuator eliminates the need for a separate actuator purchase, simplifying installation in retrofit and new-construction zoning projects alike.

Key Features

14 x 8 inch rectangular damper sized for standard duct openings

Belimo 3-wire actuator included, no separate actuator required

60-second actuator cycle time for controlled, low-impact blade movement

Designed for compatibility with Trane and American Standard zoning systems

Packaged dimensions: 10 inches wide, 21 inches tall, 8 inches deep

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation zone damper for Trane and American Standard rectangular duct zoning systems requiring a 14 x 8 inch damper with a 3-wire Belimo actuator.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician familiar with low-voltage zoning controls and duct fabrication. Shut down the air handler and de-energize the control board before wiring the actuator. The 3-wire actuator requires connection to the zone control board per the board manufacturer's wiring diagram.
