It operates without programming: pressing a single button activates a preset countdown, and the connected load shuts off automatically at the end of the selected interval. Available intervals span one to eight hours, with a HOLD mode for continuous operation when needed. The electronic design produces no mechanical ticking, making it suitable for bedrooms, bathrooms, and any area where noise is a concern. A licensed electrician installs this device in a standard single-gang wall box.

This timer switch is used in residential settings where automatic shutoff of fans or lights is required. It is particularly common in whole house fan installations, where the fan needs to run for a set period and shut off without manual intervention. It also serves bathroom exhaust fans and general lighting circuits. The unit replaces a standard single-pole wall switch and uses a decorator-style wall plate, which is sold separately. A neutral wire connection is required at the installation location. Compatible with incandescent, fluorescent, CFL, and LED loads. Not intended for use with sunlamps, saunas, or any load that could cause injury if timed incorrectly.

Key Features

No programming required: single-button activation for preset countdown intervals

Preset countdown times from 1 to 8 hours with a HOLD mode for continuous ON operation

Silent electronic operation with no mechanical ticking

Rated for 1 HP motor loads, suitable for whole house fans

Compatible with incandescent, fluorescent, CFL, and LED loads

Replaces a standard single-pole wall switch; decorator-style wall plate not included

Compatibility

Designed as a single-pole wall switch replacement for residential whole house fan, exhaust fan, and lighting circuits.
