Manufactured from steel with a black phosphate finish, it meets DIN 6340 dimensional and performance standards. The black phosphate coating provides moderate corrosion resistance and reduces light reflection, making it suitable for interior mechanical assemblies, electrical panels, and equipment enclosures. This washer is installed by electricians, HVAC technicians, plumbers, and general mechanical trades whenever load distribution or surface protection is required under an M6 screw or bolt head.

This washer is suited for metric fastener assemblies in both residential and light commercial applications. Typical uses include panel mounting, equipment rack fastening, motor mounting, and general structural hardware assembly. The DIN 6340 standard specifies a larger outer diameter relative to inner diameter, providing increased bearing surface for load distribution on softer or thinner base materials.

Key Features

Steel construction for reliable strength in standard mechanical applications

Black phosphate finish for moderate corrosion resistance and low-reflectance appearance

Meets DIN 6340 dimensional standard for metric flat washers

6.4mm inside diameter sized for M6 fasteners

17mm outside diameter provides broad load-bearing surface

3mm thickness adds rigidity under clamping loads

Compatibility

Designed for use with M6 metric screws and bolts in applications conforming to DIN 6340 standard flat washer dimensions.

Installation Notes

Install by placing the washer over the fastener shank before threading into the mating component.
