The kit includes the ice maker unit, water valve, and installation hardware needed for a complete install. Once fitted, it freezes, releases, and stores ice automatically, producing up to 2 pounds of ice per day. A built-in sensor arm activates the cycle when ice is low and shuts the unit off when the bin reaches capacity. The included ice bin holds up to 5 pounds of ice. The kit is white in color and constructed of plastic. Appliance technicians and experienced service personnel are the typical installers.

This kit is intended for top mount refrigerators that are factory-prepared for an ice maker add-on but shipped without one. It eliminates the need for manual ice trays by providing a continuous, automatic supply of ice. The sensor arm mechanism ensures the ice maker does not overfill the bin, making it a self-regulating system once properly installed. Always verify the required part number against your appliance service manual or by contacting FRIGIDAIRE directly before ordering.

Key Features

Genuine OEM FRIGIDAIRE replacement and add-on kit

Produces up to 2 pounds of ice per day

Included ice bin holds up to 5 pounds of ice

Sensor arm stops production automatically when bin is full and restarts when ice is low

Kit includes ice maker, water valve, and installation hardware

White finish, plastic construction

Compatibility

Designed for compatible FRIGIDAIRE top mount refrigerators that are pre-wired and plumbed for an ice maker addition.
