The strike features a 1-1/2 inch extended lip, which provides additional clearance for the latch bolt and helps protect the door frame in high-traffic environments. Finished in satin stainless steel, it resists corrosion and maintains a clean appearance over time. The overall plate measures 4-7/8 inches in length and is fabricated to standard ASA dimensions, making it a direct replacement for most standard strikes. Installation is handled by locksmiths, carpenters, or general contractors during door prep or lock service work.

This strike plate is suited for interior and exterior door applications where an extended lip is needed to bridge a gap between the door frame and the latch bolt projection. Common install scenarios include hollow metal frames, wood frames with light warping, and door assemblies where the lockset requires additional latch engagement depth. The satin stainless finish is appropriate for both commercial office environments and residential applications where a consistent hardware finish is required.

Key Features

ASA-standard strike dimensions for broad lockset compatibility

1-1/2 inch extended lip provides added latch clearance and frame protection

Satin stainless steel finish for corrosion resistance in high-traffic and exterior-adjacent applications

Compact profile at 0.25 inches thick minimizes frame recess depth requirements

Sold individually, with case quantity of 5 units available for volume jobs

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement strike for door assemblies requiring an ASA-standard extended lip strike plate with a satin stainless steel finish.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a licensed locksmith, finish carpenter, or door hardware installer.
