The unit operates on battery power, eliminating the need for hardwired electrical connections during installation. A mortise cylinder is integrated into the device, allowing keyed entry and alarm silence from the exterior. The gray finish provides a neutral appearance suited to standard commercial door hardware. This exit alarm is installed by licensed locksmiths, security contractors, or commercial door hardware professionals.

This device is intended for use on commercial exit doors where an audible deterrent is required to discourage unauthorized egress or door propping. Surface-mount construction allows the unit to be applied to most standard hollow metal or wood doors without extensive door preparation. The battery-powered design makes it suitable for locations where running low-voltage wiring to the door is impractical or cost-prohibitive. Typical installations include schools, retail environments, warehouses, and multi-tenant facilities.

Key Features

Surface-mount housing requires no cutouts or door routing for installation

Battery-powered operation eliminates need for hardwired low-voltage connections

Integrated mortise cylinder allows keyed exterior access and alarm reset

Gray finish suits standard commercial door hardware aesthetics

Audible alarm activates upon unauthorized door opening to deter unauthorized egress

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style surface-mount exit alarm for standard commercial hollow metal and wood egress doors requiring a battery-powered audible alarm with mortise cylinder access.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified locksmith or commercial door hardware technician familiar with exit device hardware and applicable life-safety codes.
