The switch mounts through a standard countertop hole and uses pneumatic air pressure transmitted through a small tube to activate a remote power module, keeping the activation point away from water and wet hands. This design meets common safety requirements for sink-area electrical controls. Plumbers and kitchen remodel contractors install this type of switch as an alternative to wall switches or disposer-mounted controls.

This air switch is suited for residential kitchen installations where a countertop-mounted activation button is preferred over a traditional wall switch. It fits into an existing knockout or pre-drilled hole in the countertop or sink deck. The unit is sold individually and works in conjunction with a compatible power module that connects inline between the disposal and the outlet. No specific model restrictions are stated in the available product data.

Key Features

Top mount design installs through a standard countertop or sink deck opening

Pneumatic activation keeps the contact point free of direct electrical current

Eliminates the need for a dedicated wall switch for disposal control

Sold as a single unit for individual replacement or new installation

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install air switch for residential garbage disposal systems requiring a countertop-mounted pneumatic activation button.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified contractor in accordance with local plumbing and electrical codes.
