It connects a compression tube end to a male NPT threaded port at a 90-degree angle, redirecting tubing runs in tight spaces without requiring soldering or brazing. This fitting is rated for up to 400 psi working pressure and carries a 1/8 inch NPT thread size with a straight thread size of 3/8-24. It is sized for use in residential and light commercial plumbing, refrigeration, and fluid-transfer lines where a reliable, leak-resistant mechanical connection is required. Licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians are the primary installers.

This fitting is suited for applications involving copper or compatible soft tubing routed into NPT-threaded ports on valves, manifolds, gauges, or equipment fittings. The compression end eliminates the need for solder, making it a practical choice in retrofit or service scenarios where open flame is restricted or impractical. Typical installations include water supply lines, pneumatic control tubing, refrigerant sight-glass connections, and similar low-to-medium pressure fluid systems in both residential and commercial settings.

Key Features

Lead free brass construction meets applicable safe drinking water standards

Rated to 400 psi maximum working pressure

1/8 inch NPT male thread for standard pipe connections

Compression x MNPT end connections eliminate the need for soldering

90-degree elbow configuration allows direction changes in confined spaces

Straight thread size 3/8-24 for precise mechanical engagement

Compatibility

Designed as a standard compression-to-MNPT elbow fitting compatible with copper and compatible soft tubing systems using 1/8 inch NPT threaded ports in plumbing, HVAC, and fluid-transfer applications.

Installation Notes

Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC technician. Shut off supply pressure and depressurize the line before disassembly or fitting installation. Hand-tighten the compression nut first, then snug with a wrench — avoid overtightening, which can distort the ferrule and cause leaks. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male NPT threads in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC).

Technical Specifications

Fitting Type: Male Elbow

Material: Lead Free Brass

End Connections: Compression x MNPT

Thread Size: 1/8 inch NPT

Thread Standard: NPT

Straight Thread Size: 3/8-24

Maximum Working Pressure: 400 psi

Weight: 0.05 pounds

Package Quantity: 1

Standard Information

Brand: ANDERSON METALS

Manufacturer Part Number: 750069-0302

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0270/4519/9983/files/1c2631b4df18f205d6a8d98fb0f00824_c5e227ca-291b-4bc2-a14b-116145422012.jpg?v=1788320089
