Measuring approximately 26.73 inches by 18.90 inches with a 10.00-inch basin depth, it gives plumbers and kitchen installers a versatile fitting option without committing to a traditional farmhouse apron style. The fireclay construction uses high-pressure casting with fine-grade raw material, producing a dense, uniform body that resists acids, alkalis, scratches, and chipping. The glazed surface adds a durable shine that holds up over time. At 55.82 pounds, this sink requires proper sub-cabinet support regardless of installation method.

This sink suits residential kitchen remodels and new construction where a durable, low-maintenance basin is specified. The dual-mount design gives installers flexibility: the glazed hanging lip around the perimeter accommodates drop-in setups, while standard undermount rough-in is equally supported. The rear center drain measures 3.5 inches and is compatible with standard garbage disposals. It is finished in white and fits standard base cabinet widths appropriate for a sink of this footprint. Licensed plumbers and experienced kitchen installers are the typical trade professionals performing this work.

Key Features

Dual-mount design: installs undermount or drop-in using the same unit

High-pressure cast fireclay body resists acids, alkalis, scratches, and chipping

Glazed interior and exterior surface for long-term durability and finish retention

Heat resistant up to 350 degrees F - will not crack from direct contact with hot cookware

Standard 3.5-inch rear center drain, compatible with garbage disposal units

White glaze finish with uniform appearance from fine fireclay raw material

Compatibility

Compatible with the ALFI undermount installation kit model ABUMSB for sub-cabinet support. Regardless of whether this sink is installed undermount or drop-in, sub-cabinet support from beneath is required - the full weight of 55.82 pounds must not rest solely on the sink edges or countertop cutout lip. If the ALFI undermount kit is not used, a custom support structure built from dimensional lumber is necessary. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain lines before removing an old sink or beginning cabinet modifications.

Technical Specifications

Material: Fireclay (high-pressure cast)

Dimensions: 26.73 inches x 18.90 inches x 10.00 inches

Weight: 55.82 pounds

Drain Size: 3.5 inches rear center

Heat Resistance: Up to 350 degrees F

Mount Type: Undermount or drop-in

Finish Color: White

Standard Information

Brand: ALFI

Manufacturer Part Number: ABF2718UD-W
