Evaporator Coils

About Evaporator Coils

Evaporator coils are integral components of air conditioning systems that absorb heat from the air inside a building. They consist of a series of tubes, usually made from copper or aluminum, filled with refrigerant and connected to an indoor fan coil unit. The evaporator coils draw in warm air and cool it by transferring the heat energy contained within the air into the refrigerant circulating through them. This process causes condensation on the outside surface of the coils, which is then drained away via a condensate drain line. Evaporator coils are essential for effective cooling and dehumidification in any home or business space that utilizes an AC system.
